It's a good saying that every dog has his day.

In term of pay & growth prospects, Physiotherapist (or physical therapist in US) was once ranked 7th as the Best Jobs in America in 2009.


Now it becomes 45th by CareerCast in Jobs Rated 2011: Ranking 200 Jobs From Best to Worst.

Let's get a glance from the latest job ranking for some medical professions:

25th DIET
32nd CHIRO
36th PHARM
45th PHY
57th PODIA
75th DENT
83rd GP
88th RT
94th NURSE
101st SURG
We can see the trend has changed drastically as the traditionally high-pay professions have drop out from top-50. As the ranking is measured by physical demands, work environment, pay, hiring outlook and stress, shows that people nowadays enjoy more than the income itself from their jobs.

Well, maybe I'm a bit over-loaded without my knowledge?
Wondering how many years ahead I could last in my career...
 

MPA Membership

4 months after the very short-notice compulsory membership registration which ended 31st Aug, I got official email notification of application approval.

Being categorised as a local ordinary member, I have my membership ID and login detail, with my email as username. Changing password is a common practice. There is no impressive spot after logging in. PDF files regarding code of ethnics etc. are seen before in PDF folder under root directory.

Free Chrome Notebook

Got an email stating that I've been chosen to get the chance to own a Chrome Notebook, or code name CR48.

I saw this and thought it is just another scam so I didn't put much attention on it, until last night I read and found it is a damn real thing.

"Chrome notebooks are for people who live on the web and want a faster, safer and more secure experience without all the headaches of ordinary computers."

"To apply to get your Chrome notebook, please provide your US mailing address by clicking the link below no later than Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST."

What?! Another US chicken rib? Guess there is no chance at all for me but to watch on photos.
So I would rather leave the link for those interested to get a glimpse.

New Microsoft Encoder

Well, perhaps not a "new" one as it is released  few months ago.

What I'm talking about is Microsoft Expression Encoder 4, an element in MS Expression Web, is a successor of the well-acclaimed Windows Media Encoder, which helped me much more than 5 years ago in compressing videos just within a few clicks.

It simply recalls my nostalgic memories.


However, think I won't try this out so soon, it's requirement to install .Net 4 is a monster already.

Time To Run!

I like outdoor activities.

Ever since my first official running event, Peace Run 2009, I like short run, never thought I'll be joining a marathon, after being seduced by the charming official Brooks vest of PBIM 2009.

And what surprised me was a month ago I seriously bought a pair of running shoes, Mizuno Wave Rider 13, which over my budget.

 

After all, RM200 is what I thought should be more than enough.

 

Never regret for not buying the recommended shoes as I felt much comfortable & eased as soon as I wear them.

Then I got my goodies bag on 18 Nov. Well, all tiny chicky things, could simply say worse than last year's: 

Bag w/o zip, most of all, less quality vest, show no kick. Seems like in a hurry for the preparation.
